What makes Lake Carlos Villas different from other timeshare resorts?
We are a cooperative, so we are managed by our owners through a Board of Directors rather than a corporation. There are no salespeople or pressure sales. This allows us to keep membership costs and fees very reasonable.
What are the units like?
Each unit is just steps from beautiful Lake Carlos, with lake views from the living room and/or front deck. There are 18 units with one or two units per building:
two 1-bedroom/1 bath units (11 and 12),
six 2-bedroom/1 bath units (1 and 2, 5 and 6, 7 and 8),
six 2–bedroom/2 bath units (3 and 4, 13 and 14, 15 and 16),
two 2-bedroom with loft/2 bath units (9 and 10),
two 3-bedroom/2 bath units (17/18* and 19)
*originally two 1-bedroom units, now converted into one 3-bedroom unit
Each unit has internet, cable TV, A/C, heat, and a gas fireplace.
Bed linens, towels, and hair dryers are provided in each unit.
Kitchens have full appliances and all kitchenware (including coffeemaker, toaster, & blender). Just bring your food, clothing, and personal care items!
What kind of amenities are available?
Two swimming pools (one indoor and one outdoor) and an indoor hot tub
Lakeside library with books and DVD movies for guest use during their stay
An exercise and games room with exercise equipment, foosball table, puzzles and board games. Ping pong and yard games are also available.
Boat lifts and dock space are available for a fee.
Fishing boats with motors are available to rent.
Fishing boats without motors, a paddleboat, paddleboards, kayaks, a canoe, and extra life vests are available at no charge to LCV guests (deposit required).
On-site laundromat with two washers and two dryers ($1.00/load)
Are memberships currently available?
Yes! Floating week memberships in late spring/early fall or winter are available. Check the “Membership” tab for more information.
Note: Additional weeks can be booked by members at great rates, plus use of Unit 20 (based on availability).
